A selection of Darrell’s paintings are currently on show at London’s Salon Club.

The Artist II
This is Malcolm, one of my favourite local artists. Click here to see some of his work.
This portrait is from There is a Storm Coming.
The Jeweller
This is Sian, a very talented jeweller based in Medway. She’s so talented, in fact, that I commissioned her to make our engagement ring this year. Click here to see her website.
This portrait is from There is a Storm Coming.
THE PAINTER
This is Peter Reeds, a familiar face around the Medway towns. Peter is not just a painter, but also an avid supporter of the talent in the local area and a proud activist involved in Restore Rochester Castle and many other local causes. His paintings often depict the local buildings and people in vivid colours, often acrylics on canvas.
Wolf Howard as The Drummer
This is one of the outtakes from There’s a Storm Coming. Wolf in the outfit he wears when he plays with The Musicians of the British Empire.
THE ILLUSTRATOR
I have decided to publish some information about some of my sitters from the There is a Storm Coming Project here on my blog.
The first person out is Mark Barnes aka The Illustrator aka Britain’s Fourth Greatest Illustrator. He is a fantastic illustrator with a great sense of humour added to the mix.

LOOK INTO MY EYES!
After more than 20 portrait sessions in our dining room I have finally updated the ‘There’s a Storm Coming’ project.
Stephen is one of my favourite Medway artists. This portrait was photographed for the ‘Made in Medway’ book and was shot in front of one of his artworks made with(in) the (Medway) river.
Leddra is lovely. I would ask you to listen to her, but you’ve already heard her on the radio, you just didn’t know who it was.
I shot this image for Cellardoor Magazine’s feature and front cover
Crèche
This lady is a teacher at a crèche outside of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. She is standing in the vegetable garden adjacent to their day building. I met her during a visit to Gateway School of Fashion (a charity run by HopeHIV in collaboration with Karen Millen and UCA). We visited several of HopeHIV’s charity initiatives around the countryside this day and met some of the most loving people I have ever come across.
